MIA We have all been sick :(

Wow I cant believe that I have not posted since Carsons birthday! We have had a pretty rough week at the Hewitt house this week! All I can say is praise the Lord my husband owns his own business and works from home :) Not what he would probably say right now after taking care of me and little man all week! I woke up Sunday morning feeling terribly nausea's and just icky! I know the first thing I though too...... let me start googling "hit men in Charleston SC " because If I'm pregnant I'm killing my husband!!!! Turns out he is going to survive I just had the stomach bug, and so did Carson! We are feeling much better now, and I cant wait for a much needed weekend away with some of my favorite people! It is my BFF in the whole wide worlds Bachelorette party, and I'm so excited! I'm ready to laugh so hard I feel like I did a 30 min ab workout, dance like a rock star or at least the rock star I once thought I was (before childbirth and saggy boobs), and stay up late reminiscing on all of our high school days together! I love you girls and cant wait to see you all! Please pray for my husband and Carson that they make it without me, and I don't kill both of them for turning my house upside down over the weekend! PS a special thanks to my husband for being such a wonderful daddy and keeping little man with a little touch of Diarrhea still lingering, so mommy could have some much needed girl time!!

Our Monkey is 1

Happy Birthday sweet Carson! This past year with you has been amazing! You have the funniest little personality I have ever seen. Your favorite thing right now is a ball! You just love a ball, you talk about it from the time you wake until its time for bed! You are into everything, and love opening and closing doors! Your smile melts my heart and your laugh gives me chills! I love you more than life itself. We had such a wonderful time at your birthday and cant wait for many more! I love you so much my little monkey! PS just for the record your are still high maintenance, you love your bath, but hate to get out and get dressed, are a very picky eater, and not a big fan of being alone (but hey you get that last one honest) !

A little sneaky peeky of our monkeys party!

This is just a little sneak peek into our monkey party we had this weekend! Let me tell you this was one of the best days of my life! I know sounds pretty silly, but I planned for this thing longer and harder than I did my wedding ha! Everything went perfect and I never got stressed out! That is big for me, because I just knew I was going to be a wreck :) Carson was in a wonderful mood and we had a house full! I thinking around 60 people! Many more pics to come, and a lot more talking from me!

Swing Swing

Carson and I decided that since it was such a beautiful day that we would go for a walk! In our neighborhood there are two swings in this beautiful wooded area that some of our neighbors put up and said anyone could come and swing anytime :) Carson just loved it!! he was giving me big smiles the whole time, it was awesome!

Happy Birthday Mackenna!

This past weekend Todd, Carson, and I went to Mackennas second birthday! Mackenna is a little girl that lives in our neighborhood and she is a cutie! We have met so many great friends over the last two years in our neighborhood! Its like baby city over here and we love it :) Carson has 2 buddies right across the street and they are all 2 weeks apart, can you say trouble in the future! I know it is going to be so much FUN, I cant wait!

My 2 daily battles

Ok I just need to vent and let you all know the two things tha run through my head atleast 5 times daily! First is my weight, I think about it all the time! I have finally decided that I;am serious about getting it off too! I haven't blogged about it lately because I feel like its something that I constantly say I'm going to do and never follow through with. So I'm making progress and I thought I would share. It has finally hit me that the only way that I'm going to get skinny and stay skinny is to eat really healthy and workout everyday, sucks I know, but it has to be done! I'm actually really getting it to it this time though, I have started running and I'm loving it, ok lets don't lie here I'm liking it! I have lost almost 2 inches from my waist YAY me!!!! Ok number 2 please do not judge, because Im about to be real honest. Do I want another child? OMG I know I really just typed that out! I think about it all the time daily actually... I'm just so torn I always thought that I want 3 or 4 kids, but now I just don't know? Don't get me wrong I LOVE being a mommy its the best thing ever, but I feel like I have it so together with one baby! I know you are all thinking why are you trying to make this decision now your child is not even 1 yet? If you know me you know I plan everything and I do mean everything i think about things long in advance before they ever happen. Now the reasons I think I only want one... all selfish of course 1) I can keep my house clean and do all Carson laundry
2) I can get my body back and never have to get really BIg again
3) I had a terrible pregnancy and really have no desire to do it again
4) I take showers get dressed and put on makeup everyday
5) We can still go to dinner and lunch with one baby and handle it?

Ok you all see where I'm going here right. The only thing is I really want Carson to have a brother or a sister and when I'm older I want to have more than one child? Any advise???

My little baby is getting so BIG

Wow where did the time go?? I cant believe that my sweet baby boy will be one in less than a month. Carson you are so much fun these days, you have quite the personality, and your daddy and I just love it! This is really embarrassing to admit, but Carson has had a couple of first this last week... we took his first trip to the grocery store! I know you are all thinking OMg the child is almost 1 and has never been to the grocery store! Yes it is sad but true! I just always go on Mondays and I leave him with daddy(remember daddy works from home) and it is so much easier. But Carson did so good and had the best time he waved and smiled at everyone he was so in awe of everyone and everything, it was so cute:) Ok the other First that happened today was that I dressed Carson like a Big boy I mean khakis and a button down crazy I know! The "baby" has worn jon jons and bubbles and any other thing baby I could put him in. Now don't get me wrong I'm not making a habit out of this he will still mostly be in his jon jons and bubbles until he stops me haha!
