Happy Birthday Caycee! (a message from her husband)

This has been an amazing year with us bringing our little man into our lives and I am so proud of Caycee as a wife and a mother. It's begining to look a lot like Christmas!!

We are almost done with our outside decorations, so tomorrow night we will go get our tree yay!! Even though this is Carson first Christmas and he want remember I'm still so much more excited than I have ever been to celebrate Christmas!!!!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I wanted to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving it was a special one this year for the Hewitt family! This was the first of many first to come for us! We decided to stay home this year and just do Thanksgiving the three of us, and I have to be honest it was GREAT! (not that we didn't miss are family because we did sooo much), It was just so low key and laid back two words that usually do notfit in the same sentence with my name ha! We got up Thursday morning, got dressed and headed out for some wreaths to hang on our windows, I had planed to cook for us when we got back home for lunch but........... Bessingers BBQ had a Thanksgiving buffet with everything you could imagine! The more I thought about cooking and cleaning up all that mess the better it looked, and it was sooo GOOD! Carson was not the biggest fan of the food, but boy he loved the cake and sweet tea! (hey I figured it was a holiday what could it hurt) After we got home we started the decorating and it was so much fun it was beautiful and sunny and I loved the way the porches turned out! We were so tired after the porches we didn't get the wreaths up yet! So I have to say this will go down as the best Thanksgiving yet........... we have so much to be Thankful for........Todd and I named five things each last night and here were a few. Our Savior, our beautiful son, our wonderful marriage, our home, and our health!

Here is a little sneak peek of some photos that we had done this weekend! I'm in love with them, and this baby :) OMG I totally thought they were going to be terrible, Carson was in the worst mood ever, but I guess when you have an awesome photographer and the beach you cant go wrong ha! Have I mentioned that I love living in Charleston 20 minutes away from the beach OK just in case I did I LOVE it Love it!! I'm not going to show you my Faves.... because I have to use them for Christmas cards!!!

Introducing John Kipton Perkins

Carson has a new cousin!!! We were so excited to meet this sweet baby, and sweet he is! The whole time we were there we passed him around kissing on him and never even a whimper! That's my kind of baby :) we had such a great weekend visiting with my parents and getting to spend some time with my niece and nephew Cayden and Carter. Carson loves them and they LOVE Carson!!! Cayden defiantly has the mother instinct already all day she wiped Carson nose and was willing and ready to change his diapers the funny thing is that are about the same size ha!

A couple of "new" things!

Sorry I haven't had a lot to blog about lately...... this week as been pretty low key for the Hewitts! I have just been doing the usual mom stuff, cleaning, changing diapers, playing with a nine month old, did I mention cleaning ha ha! We are having a Halloween party at our house this Saturday, so I'm trying to keep the house somewhat clean (My cleaning ladies came last week

:( Bummer ). So Todd says he will fill in for them this Saturday :) I will let you know how that goes!!! Anyway here are a few new things that I have done to the house........ New wood floors, can I get a Amen sista I love these things, new curtains in Carsons playroom and bathroom, chair recovered, table runner, to match my chairs in the dinning room and this cute little coat rack!!
